I also dropped my ACFAS membership and joined the ASPS to support OUR only organization with political punch to have our voices heard! ACFAS was selfish in their decision to not affiliate with APMA and it was a foolish and unwiswe move on their part.

Unbelievable. Another organization. Ridiculous. DPM's should be ashamed at the amount of sham 'certifying boards' and 'organizations' that exist primarily because alot of them cannot get into a real organization or pass a real board exam. At a time when people are leaving the AMA in droves due to their political pandering with the delusional Obama administration, how could anyone side with an organization that 'forces' membership for inclusion? The APMA does do alot of good but should not force the issue of membership with ACFAS. No different than the AMA and AAOS.
