Although I may see less than 5 patients per month with acute gout, I may see between 6 to 10 on long-term allopurinol for chronic gout.
Reply to this comment »I agree with the previous post. While I only see a few acute gout cases per month, I see many more patients who are taking either allopurinol, uloric and even colchicine for long-term control.
