Acticoat 7 is a silver-coated antimicrobial dressing that delivers a uniform antimicrobial concentration of silver, which provides an effective barrier against bacterial penetration for up to seven days. It is effective against over 150 pathogens, including gram-negative bacteria, antibiotic resistance bacteria (including MRSA and VRE) and antifungal organisms. Acticoat Absorbent is an antimicrobial dressing that consists of silver-coated alginate fabric. The sustained release of broad spectrum ionic silver activity provides up to three days of antimicrobial barrier protection for wounds with moderate to heavy exudate, while maintaining a moist environment for optimal wound management. Profore is a multi-layer compression bandage system, comprised of a wound contact layer and four bandages. It has been specifically designed for the management of venous leg ulcers and to maintain effective levels of compression after application. Allevyn dressings have a trilaminate structure comprised of a non-adherent wound contact layer, a highly absorbent central layer that is waterproof and aids in the prevention of bacterial contamination. |
