ProLab’s custom orthoses are fully corrected precision devices produced by combining state-of-the-art technology, superior hand craftsmanship, and evidence-based research. Practitioners can meet their patients’ needs by specifying each orthotic component separately or by selecting a predefined custom device. ProLab’s custom Pathology Specific Orthoses™ are designed on evidence-based research to change the particular pathomechanics of various diagnoses. Doctors may make changes to the predefined prescriptions to meet patients’ needs. P3 Functional Prefabs were designed using the same expertise as ProLab’s custom orthoses, resulting in the best functionally-corrected prefab on the market. These cost-effective devices can be used as diagnostic tools providing immediate symptom relief, or to prevent overuse or injury. The Stabilizer, a gauntlet-type AFO, provides the ultimate nonsurgical stabilization of the rearfoot and ankle in all three planes. The AFO has a custom-molded polypropylene shell covered with leather and padded with Poron to enhance comfort and fit.
The ProLab Functional AFO combines a custom-balanced foot orthosis with semrigid uprights and three hinge choices. This AFO allows for simultaneous control of the ankle joint, subtalar joint, and midtarsal joint. |
