ProLab Custom Foot Orthoses are fully corrected precision devices produced by combining state-of-the-art technology with superior hand craftsmanship. Practitioners can meet their patients' needs by selecting a predefined custom device or by specifiying each orthotic component separately. ProLab's Custom Pathology Specific Orthoses are designed to accommodate specific foot pathologies. The orthoses meet the particular pathomechanics of various diagnoses. They may be prescribed exactly as specified, or may be modified to meet the unique needs of patients. The ProLab Functional AFO is a custom ankle-foot orthosis that combines a custom-balanced foot orthosis with semirigid uprights and three hinge choices. This device allows for simultaneous control of the ankle joint, subtalar joint and midtarsal joint. The ProLab Custom Stabilizer AFO provides the ultimate nonsurgical stabilization of the rearfoot and ankle in all three planes. This gauntlet-style AFO has a custom-molded polypropylene shell covered with leather and padded with Poron to enhance comfort and fit. The In-Step prefabricated polypropylene adult and kiddy prefabs provide functional correction at cost-effective prices. The diabetic prefabs provide an excellent accommodative alternative for at-risk diabetic patients. |
